AHHHHH I CAN'T TELL IF IT'S MY SCREEN OR IF MY SCANNER IS ACTUALLY A PIECE OF CRAP
Is the picture too light? I hope it's just my screen. I worked my butt off for this. I recommend moving your screen back if you have a laptop while viewing this image.
Hehehe... Anyways, these two lovely lady's are 's characters, Aden (green hair) and Mae (blue). Yes, you know EXACTLY where Aden's eyes are...
I hope you you can actually see it dollface, and if you can, I hope you like it. This picture also has been quite an artistic achievement for me, as I have not ever attempted to use acrylics this way (or colour any of my sketches at all for that matter.) I really really hope you can see it, because I think I'll cry otherwise.
Media: fake water colours (watered down acrylics), coloured pencils, india ink, pencil and... salt.
Yes, I certainly can see it! And I'm very grateful for that!
This is so beautiful! The colors are soft, but also eye-catching. Their expressions are perfect-- playful Mae and slightly perverse Aden. I also really love the clothing choices you made for them, especially the color splash pattern on Mae's skirt. But most of all, I'm really in love with the hair. I just want to run my fingers through it (Mae probably wouldn't mind, but Aden might bit them off. )
Thank you! I'm very happy to see that you like it so much! Yeah, I thought the oh-my-god-barbie-just-died-all-over-my-skirt would be a good choice for Mae. Mae's outfit was actually inspired by the outfit you drew her in for 2nd profile. Getting the hair colours right was really difficult (especially Mae's because I apparently don't have just a plain blue -.-), so I'm pleased to know that you like the hair.
You're very very very welcome! Aha, and I've managed to lure you into adding me to your watch list!
